I’ve told my clients for years, you only get ONE FACE, take care of it, and treat it well, it’s the only one you’ve got…

Welcome all to my blog, I’m so happy you’re here! A little background on me: I’ve been an esthetician for over 10 years (going on 13 actually) and in that time I have built up quite a bit of skincare knowledge that I feel would be helpful to a lot people.  Skincare can be confusing, the long-term health and appearance of your skin is something on everyones mind, but what if we know nothing about which products to use or which ingredients are best? Well, I’m here to help! Over the coming months I’ll be posting on all sorts of different topics; from specific ingredients, to certain products and services that are offered in the beauty industry.  Now I in no way know everything, I haven’t tried every service or skincare product out there, but I will try and educate myself, and you, on what options are out there, and what’s worth your time and money.  I became an esthetician to truly help people with their skin, I had (have) acne that started as a teenager. I went to doctors, I tried every topical and pill out there, nothing worked long-term, and I was at a loss as to what to do to help my skin.  When I was in high school, I decided to go get a facial at a spa that had just opened up by my retail job, and my love of skincare was born! That spa (that I actually still work at and manage to this day) and that esthetician, changed the way I viewed my acne problem. My esthetician taught me so much about how to take care of my skin instead of: peel it off with Retin-A, or dry it out with benzoyl peroxide, or just cover it up with an anti-biotic. And I just knew that I would love to help people with their skin one day, so here I am! I’m also a major lover of makeup, so there may be a few posts about some fun new makeup and products that I love.  And I’ll share my favorite skincare products, masks, services, tips and tricks… I hope you’ll come along with me to learn more about your skin and how to treat it…..Lets go!
